Harambe Futbol Club had a very successful season with numerous League Championships, several tournament championships and finalist appearances.  We are looking to build on this success by holding "Open Tryouts" for players that will complement our new and existing teams.  Open Tryouts for boys and girls ranging in ages from 6 to 18 will be held on June 8, 9 and 15 at Happy Rock Park.

Tryout Location: Happy Rock Park, 7600 NE Antioch Rd, Kansas City, MO 64119

Pre Registration: Click Here

Schedule: Click Here

Duration: Approximately 60 minutes

Rainout and Weather Updates:

Will be maintained and updated on the Website

What To Expect

Check in at the registration Tent.

  • Each session will start with warm-up and stretch, and then consist of speed and agility exercises, skills training, small-sided games, and player evaluations.
  • We recommend players to attend all sessions to give themselves the best chance to be selected. It is common for players to be nervous for the first session and then excel during the second.

What To Bring

Please bring water and a soccer ball, and wear practice gear including shin guards and cleats.

PLEASE CONTACT THE TEAM COACH FOR MORE INFORMATION OR IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO ATTEND THE TRYOUT DATE.

Thank You,
Harambe Futbol Club

Harambe Futbol Club names Vahid Assadpour as new Director of Coaching

Harambe is proud to announce Vahid Assadpour as it's new Director of Coaching!!!
Many of you know Vahid, who is currently the captain of the Missouri Comets professional soccer team. Vahid just finished his third season with the Comets, leading them to the MLS Championship game. Prior to playing with the Comets Vahid played professionally for 4 seasons in Detriot after graduating college with a criminal justice degree while playing soccer on scholarship. Vahid was born in Iran and moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of 2 and has been playing soccer since he was 5 years old. Vahid's father played professional soccer and served as his inspiration. Vahid has coached for 8 years and also owns a soccer school with fellow Comets player Leo Gibson.
"I'm very fortunate to have been chosen to take the Director of Coaching position with Harambe! I look forward to meeting all of the players as well as helping the club grow and taking it in the right direction!".Harambe is more than excited to welcome Vahid to the Harambe family!!!!!

We are excited about the current season, as well as the upcoming seasons, and most importantly the direction Harambe is heading! While the spring season is yet to be complete, try-outs are just around the corner, commencing June 8th! Look for try-out times in the upcoming week!

Once again, THANK YOU for playing with Harambe, and being part of the Harambe family!
